Iddarammayilatho is an old story

Its not new for Puri Jagannath taking out the old story and making up the  effective changes and directs a new movie.  From the starting of his career we saw him saying that the story was prepared a long back and now cooked it with small changes in effect with the selected hero for the story.
                         Actually Badri story was prepared during his student career. Later it was directed with Pawan Kalyan which turned into a blockbuster. CGR was planned earlier for Raviteja before 6 years but the actor suggested that Pawan kalyan would be the best choice for him. Meanwhile recently at  Iddarammayilatho hexa platinum disc function Allu Arjun said that ' Puri narrated this story to me five years ago but it had taken this much time to go on to the cards and finally we completed this movie in the span of six months'.
