The very first thing you notice about Kareena Kapoor isn't the convoy of spot-boys scurrying about to make her comfortable, or how she makes a regular pair of jeans and a tee look incredibly stylish, or even her gorgeous skin (which is seriously stunning).
It's her quiet calm that catches instant attention, the almost Zen-like smile on her face, and waveless manner she speaks in, often forcing you to lean in to hear better. And then, just as you've decided she's one of the mildest stars you've ever met, she finishes with her hair and make-up and turns into a celebrity, who knows exactly which dress she'd like to wear and doesn't need any help achieving the perfect picture. A conclusion was easy to arrive at—there are so many layers to Kareena, which is why Cosmo decided to discount the 'success' questions, and dig a little deeper to uncover the real Miss Kapoor.
If you were to move to another city anywhere in the world, where would you go? I'd happily move to either London (because I love shopping and eating in the city) or Switzerland because it's just such a beautiful country. It has been my favourite holiday spot for many years now.
If you could act with any star in the world, who would it be? It took me less than a second to answer that—I'd absolutely love to star in a movie opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. He's just brilliant!
Going down memory lane, what has been the most memorable role for you so far? I am really fond of my character in Jab We Met, she's a lot like what I am in reality and it felt good to play that role. Also, my role in Omkara was one of the most challenging ones, so that was memorable for me, too.
What do you like to do when you have a little time off? If I have enough time, I'll probably hop on a flight to London or Paris for the weekend. It might sound hectic, but it's quite a relaxing process for me. If that doesn't work out, I usually spend time meeting friends at home.
What are your characters like in Ra-One and Agent Vinod? The two characters are as different as chalk and cheese. Preparing for the roles was hard work, but I had fun. That's the best part about my job, I get to be somebody new every day. In Ra-One I play a glamorous, stylish, modern mother who's sexy, yet a true Punjabi at heart. Agent Vinod is a spy thriller and I play a very fun character based on the lines of a Bond girl.

Are you big on fashion trends? I'd like to think I make my own trends, so I don't really follow what the fashion industry dictates. If people like what I wear, that's great. My personal style is very classic and casual; I don't like to overdo it, but I do like to keep it glamorous.
Do you have a favourite quote or motto that always stays with you? A girl should always be fearless and fabulous, and conquering the world will be that much easier
